Montenegro and Turkey set to enhance economic cooperation, praise bilateral relations

Podgorica, Montenegro (19 December 2012) – Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milo Đukanović said during the meeting with Turkey’s Ambassador Mehmet Niyazi Tanilir that he was satisfied with the presence of Turkish investors in Montenegro and reiterated his Government’s determination to enhance the economic cooperation between the two countries even further.
Turkey supports Montenegro and its development, and we will aim to employ our excellent cooperation at the political level in our future economic cooperation, Ambassador Tanilir noted and added that Turkey’s government stands ready to provide incentives to the Turkish investors willing to invest in Montenegro.
The two officials exchanged opinions on the current economic and political cooperation and they reiterated the importance of Montenegro’s role in enhancing good neighbourly cooperation and stability in the region.
