Minister Pejanović-Đurišić met with the newly appointed military attaché of the Russian Federation Colonel Popov

Minister of Defence prof.  Milica Pejanović-Đurišić, PhD  met with the newly appointed military attaché of the Russian Federation in Montenegro n a nonresidential basis with headquarters in Sarajevo,  Colonel Ivan Popov.  Depicting from the Montenegrin strategic orientation in terms of EU and Euro-Atlantic integrations, the possibilities of cooperation between Montenegro and the Russian Federation in the field of defense were discussed during the meeting. Previous cooperation with the Russian Federation consisted of visits of the Black Sea Fleet ships to the Navy of Montenegro.

Military attaché also met with Chief of General Staff of the Army of Montenegro Vice Admiral Dragan Samardzic. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Montenegro Andrei Nesterenko and First Secretary from the Embassy of Sergei Foropov.
