Miloš Karadaglić, a young Montenegro’s classical guitarist, took over first place in the UK Classical Artist Albums Top 40 with his second album “Latino”, released by the Deutsche Grammophon/Mercury Classics. At the top chart, Montenegro’s artist is followed by Anreu Rieu, Ludovico Einaudi, Andrea Bocelli, Richard Clayderman and other famous classical music artists.
The “Latino” album has already won both a “Classic Brit Award” and an “Echo Klassik”. It features new arrangements of popular Latin authors’ hits for solo guitar and string orchestra. The album aroused much attention and public interest so that, in a short period of time, it was re-released as “Latino Gold” featuring eight completely new songs.
Miloš Karadaglić performed at a Yellow Lounge in London on Thursday, as a part of his UK tour, before heading to Taiwan, China, Thailand and Japan in June and July.
The National Tourist Organisation is to cooperate with the young guitarist in order to promote Montenegro to these highly influential classical music lovers throughout the world.
