China State Construction Engineering Corporation interested in investing in Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro (16 May 2013) – Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazović hosted earlier today representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, largest domestic and overseas construction contractor and real estate developer in China.

Vice President for Overseas Affairs Dai Longwen presented the company that employs over 200 000 people and expressed interest in cooperating in the implementation of capital projects in Montenegro.

DPM Lazović said that there are significant projects related to energy supply, tourism and transport infrastructure that may be identified as the subjects of potential cooperation.

The meeting concluded that the entry of the reputable Chinese company to the Montenegrin market opens up a large space for engaging local companies in different stages of investment projects’ implementation.
