Budva, Montenegro (24 May 2013) – On the sidelines of the Budva Summit “100 Business Leaders – Agreement for New Century” Prime Minister Milio Đukanović met Thursday with Fuat Tosyali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tosyali Holding, and Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov.
During the meeting with Mr Toysali, PM Đukanović underlined that partnership with the Turkish company helps the Government of Montenegro to preserve and improve the industrial core of the country, especially referring to Željezara Nikšić steel mill.
Mr Tosyali stressed that through the recovery of Željezara Niksić, his company aims to contribute to the overall economic development and prosperity of Montenegro, adding that, after the implementation of the planned investments, Montenegro will be known for the production of steel in Europe.
PM Đukanović and Ambassador Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov agreed that Montenegro and Azerbaijan have developed good bilateral relations, having in mind that investment of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Kumbor has greatly contributed to the Montenegrin economy.
Ambassador Hasanov pointed out that the Kumbor investment is a proof of good bilateral relations and an invination to other reputable investors to invest in Montenegro.
