Montenegro has prospects for intensive development, elite tourism

Podgorica, Montenegro (5 July 2013)-- Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates have developed very good relations, thus providing a strong impetus to strengthening economic cooperation and implementing projects of mutual interest, the meeting between Prime Minister Milo Đukanović and Sheikh Hamed Al Hamed, President of Al Farid, an investment company from Abu Dhabi, announced on Thursday.

Prime Minister Đukanović said that Montenegro is a stable and open country focused on further development, which is a strong incentive for investment projects in infrastructure, energy and tourism. In that regard, he voiced the country’s willingness to cooperate with credible partners who expressed considerable interest in developing their business ideas in this areas.

Pointing out that Montenegro is not only a destination for investment, but also a country with which the Government of Abu Dhabi wants to build good long-term relations, the President of Al Farida emphasised Montenegro’s remarkable potentials, especially in tourism, which should be valorised as quickly as possible.
