Prime Minister Đukanović: Montenegro to enter a period of dynamic growth

Podgorica, Montenegro (14 November 2013) – After stabilising economic conditions in the country, Montenegro will enter a period of dynamic growth, Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović said during his meeting with the representatives of the Association of Balkans Chambers (ABC) yesterday.

The ABC representatives came to Montenegro to attend the Second annual meeting of the General Assembly of the Association of Balkan Chambers, organised by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro.

The Prime Minister noted that cooperation and networking within ABC framework poses a good basis for economic development and provides opportunities for attracting investment. During the meeting, PM Đukanović presented Montenegro’s investment potential underlining Montenegro is expected to face a period of dynamic growth.

The Association representatives noted Montenegro’s progress and underlined good relations between ABC member-states are a precondition for fruitful economic cooperation.

PM Đukanović and his guests discussed the South East Europe 2020 Strategy and pointed to the opportunity to attract region’s chambers of commerce in its implementation. They concluded that economic interconnectedness of the Balkans would boost growth of each country’s economy.
