PM Đukanović to attend second China – Central and Eastern Europe meeting of heads of government in Bucharest

Podgorica, Montenegro (26 November 2013) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will take part at the second China – Central and Eastern Europe meeting of heads of government in Bucharest, Romania, on 25-26 November.

During the two-day summit, Montenegro’s Prime Minister will meet with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang, as well as with prime ministers of the participating countries.

At last year’s China – Central and Eastern Europe meeting in Warsaw, China announced a credit line in the amount of $ 10 billion earmarked for investments in Central and East European countries. On that occasion, Prime Minister Đukanović signed the declaration on twelve measures to enhance cooperation between countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China. The credit line envisages that projects from various field are be run in line with Montenegro’s commitment to creating conditions for advancing economic development, job creation, infrastructure, energy sector and business environment.

Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Financial System Vujica Lazović will also attend the summit in Bucharest.
