PM Đukanović hosts ECAC representatives: Montenegro to introduce European civil aviation security standards

Podgorica, Montenegro (1 February 2014) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted earlier today Catalina Radu and Salvatore Sciacchitano, President and Executive Secretary of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC).

The meeting discussed current state of affairs in the field of civil aviation and the projects being implemented towards the implementation of European and international standards in this area, particularly within the EU "One-Stop Security" system.

Both sides agreed that Montenegro has achieved notable results in the field of civil aviation, emphasising the country’s contribution to the European Civil Aviation Conference in terms of boosting the member states’ capacity to enforce safety standards.

The meeting was also attended by Director of Civil Aviation Agency of Montenegro Dragan Đurović.
