Montenegrin, Romanian government officials voice willingness to boost economc ties, political dialogue
Podgorica, Montenegro (10 March 2014) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted earlier today Romanian Economy Minister Constantin Nita, with whom he discussed further improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with friendly relations and enhanced cooperation, and agreed the visit of the Romanian Minister is an incentive to further development of economic cooperation and political dialogue at high levels.
"Agreement on economic cooperation provides a good platform for further cooperation," Prime Minister Đukanović stressed, adding that Montenegro, in the context of its European integration, is particularly interested in the transfer of Romania’s experience in the fields of infrastructure, energy and environmental protection.
Economy Minister Nita reiterated Romania’s full support for Montenegro’s EU and NATO bid, highlighting his country’s willingness to boost cooperation with Montenegro in the fields of energy, tourism and food industry, as well as in other fields of mutual interest.
