Cannes, France (11 March 2014) -- Within the global real estate fair MIPIM 2014, which takes place in Cannes on 11–14 March 2014, Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism Branimir Gvozdenović and representatives of the companies which are implementing investment projects in Montenegro such as Porto Montenegro, Soho Hotel and Resort, Portonovi, Stratex Goup and Luštica Bay presented Montenegro’s development potentials, stressing that it holds a leading position in the region when it comes to the amount of direct foreign investment.
“We are focused on continuous monitoring of the foreign direct investments progress and we are open to suggestions made by investors who are present in Montenegro in order to facilitate implementation of the initiated projects and attract new investors. Montenegro has become an attractive destination for foreign investors, which is crucial as they accelerate Montenegro’s integration into the international economic space,” Minister Gvozdenović underlined.
The presentation was a great opportunity to establish contacts and exchange experiences on the conditions and trends in investing and doing business in the world. Velibor Goranović, project coordinator of the Bjelasica and Komovi project, presented the planned investments in the northern part of Montenegro.
Montenegro’s Tourism Minister Gvozdenović received an award for the most notable exhibition stand over the past 8 years from Paul Zilk, President and Chief Executive Officer of Reed MIDEM, the organiser of the MIPIM.
During the MIPIM real estate fair, Minister Gvozdenović will hold a series of meetings with potential investors, developers, planners and operators.
