Initial Meeting for the development of the National Action Program for land protection in Montenegro, 7 October 2013

The Initial Meeting took place on 7 October 2013 in Podgorica. The main goal of the Meeting was to present the key information on the project, propose project implementation methodology and provide brief insight into the 11th UNCCD Conference of Parties and the NAP Alignment Training organized by the UNCCD Secretariat in September 2013 in Namibia. 

After the introduction on main points of the Meeting, key project information was presented to the participants. It was emphasized that it is desirable that Montenegro establishes regional cooperation through organizing joint meetings with other countries in the region that are also developing and implementing their NAPs.
