NGO MANS's claims on alleged violation of Law on the financing of political parties are incorrect

Podgorica, Montenegro (2 April 2014) – The claims put forth by the NGO MANS at a press conference on 2 April 2014 according to which several state administration bodies, local governments, and companies partly or mostly owned by the state have violated the Law on the financing of political parties are incorrect and unfounded.
Human Resources Management Authority and the Employment Agency of Montenegro have not issued any public calls for vacancies at state administration bodies, public authorities, local governments, local public authorities, public companies, public institutions, state funds, or companies whose founder and/or majority or minority owner is the state or a local government since the President of Montenegro has reached a decision on 24 March 2014 to call the local elections in the capital city of Podgorica and the municipalities of Bar, Bijelo Polje, Danilovgrad, Žabljak, Kolašin, Plav, Plužine, Pljevlja, Rožaje, Šavnik, and Gusinje. This information can be verified very easily by simply checking the web pages of the Human Resources Management Authority (www.uzk.co.me) and the Employment Agency of Montenegro (www.zzzcg.org).
We therefore dismiss the claims made by NGO MANS as entirely arbitrary, incorrect, and malevolent.
