Minster Gvozdenović in Baku: Portonovi project links economies of Montenegro, Azerbaijan

Baku, Azerbaijan (4 April 2014) – Montenegro’s Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development Branimir Gvozdenović met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Fair (ATIF 2014), which takes place in Baku.

“Portonovi” is the key project connecting the two countries and their economies, and it will have a huge impact on boosting Montenegro’s economic growth, Minister Gvozdenović underlined.

The two officials discussed the dynamic of current activities within this project, stressing it has given a positive incentive to other investments in Montenegro, especially in the Bay of Kotor. In addition to this, it would be significant to link projects in the southern and northern parts of Montenegro, which would raise the quality of investments development in Montenegro, they agreed.
