Prime Minister Đukanović: Eurovision Song Contest opportunity for promoting Montenegro and its tourist potential

Podgorica, Montenegro (17 April 2014) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted earlier today pop singer Sergey Ćetković, Montenegro’s representative at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, which is be held in Copenhagen.

Mr Ćetkovic informed the Prime Minister about the activities to promote the song titled "My World" he is going to perform on 6 May, during the first semi-final.

Prime Minister Đukanović voiced satisfaction with Sergej Ćetković and his team’s professional approach, noting that he, as a regional pop star, has an opportunity to achieve good results at the prestigious European music contest.

Participation in the Eurovision Song Contest provides an opportunity for the promotion of Montenegro’s potentials, especially in the field of tourism, PM Đukanović underlined, expecting the chance to be recognised by tourist and business professionals in Montenegro.
