Prime Minister Đukanović congratulates Serbian Prime Minister Vučić on his appointment

Podgorica, Montenegro (27 April 2014) – Prime Minister Milo Đukanović congratulated Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić on his appointment, adding that historical ties between Montenegro and Serbia represent strong basis for further improvement of friendly relations.

“On behalf of the Government of Montenegro and myself, I congratulate you on the appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic Serbia. I am convinced that you will continue contributing to the overall progress and development of your country and further promotion of its position within regional, European and international framework”, PM Đukanović highlighted.

“Our joint commitment to the EU accession process will create new opportunities for strengthening partnership between Montenegro and Serbia and improve already well-developed relations between the two states”, PM Đukanović concluded.
