National Coordinator for NATO Kaluđerović visits municipality of Plužine for talks on benefits of NATO membership
Plužine, Montenegro (19 May 2014) – National Coordinator for NATO and Prime Minister’s Advisor for foreign policy paid a working visit to the municipality of Plužine for talks on Montenegro’s NATO accession process.
This is one of the several visits launched within the wide-spread public dialogue with all stakeholders in order to consider all the benefits Montenegro and the entire region will gain from the NATO membership.
National Coordinator for NATO Kaluđerović attended the training for civil servants on Montenegro’s NATO integration, organised by the Human Resources Management Authority.
This is one of Montenegro’s key foreign policy goals and the Government is involved in a wide range of activities towards Euro-Atlantic accession process, Mr Kaluđerović pointed out. He highlighted that Montenegro is committed to implementing reforms arising from its Euro-Atlantic agenda in order to fulfil all the requirements for the coming NATO Summit.
Current situation at the international level, decision-making process towards NATO membership and future responsibilities of Montenegro as a NATO member state were also discussed during the National Coordinator’s visit to Plužine.
