Members of Montenegro's army continue providing assistance to flood-stricken Serbia

Podgorica, Montenegro (21 May 2014) – Members of Montenegro's army continued their activities in providing assistance to flood-stricken areas in Serbia.

Hand-in hand with units of the Serbian Ministry of the Interiors, they were engaged in delivering food, water, medical equipment and medicine, as well as in evacuating the remaining residents of the villages in the Obrenovac municipality.

Serbia’s Defence Minister Bratislav Gašić visited Obrenovac Crisis HQ and talked with members of the Montenegrin army. He expressed his sincere gratitude for the sacrifice the Montenegrin soldiers made during the evacuation and medical aid provision to the endangered population.
