Podgorica, Montenegro (10 June 2010) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazović hosted earlier today Mr Toshio Abe, Balkans director of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
JICA’s role is to provide development assistance to Western Balkans countries, and the Ministry cooperates with them since 2010.
The Agency provided an important training for the Ministry’s CIRT team, which is tasked to manage incidents and threats coming from the Internet. This cooperation has produced direct cooperation with Japanese national CIRT, which is an important step for improving IT security.
