Danish investors interested in investing in Montenegro's Old Capital of Cetinje

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 June 2014) – Minister of Finance Radoje Žugić and Mayor of the Old Capital of Cetinje Aleksandar Bogdanović hosted earlier today representatives of the Danish company New Ventur Holding Inc, interested in investing in Montenegro.

Representatives of the New Venture Holding presented the intention of this company to invest funds in the project to be implemented in Cetinje, referring to the construction of an elite resort-tourist complex including a casino, heliport, aquarium, museum and other facilities. The investment is valuable and will be implemented by using modern technologies, they added.

Minister Žugić informed his guests about the fiscal policy in Montenegro and the Government's commitment to supporting all development projects through the activities aimed at improving the business environment and maintaining competitiveness of the tax system.

Mayor Bogdanović highlighted that the Old Capital of Cetinje is interested in the implementation of the project, adding it has developed a very competitive business environment thanks to the existence of the business zone and stimulating measures adjusted to the investors needs.

It was agreed that the implementation of this project could contribute to the progress not only of the Old Capital of Cetinje, but of Montenegro as well.
