Jana Hrebickova of OSCE: Upcoming OSCE conference in Vienna to present support projects for 2015

Podgorica, Montenegro (19 September 2014) -- OSCE Mission to Montenegro will continue to provide strong support to Montenegro’s Justice Ministry through the continuation of projects in strengthening the criminal law and the capacity of the judiciary in line with the Judicial Reform Strategy, and to assist in the implementation of the newly adopted legislation, Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro Janina Hrebickova pointed out at a meeting with Montenegro’s Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Duško Marković.

Ms Hrebickova informed DPM Marković about the upcoming OSCE conference in Vienna that will bring together heads of missions of the member states, where  support projects for beneficiary countries in 2015 will be presented.

Ambassador Hrebickova also presented the OSCE activities in the field of promotion and protection of media freedom in Montenegro, raising awareness of human rights and the training programmes for law enforcement agencies’ professionals for the provision of clear and timely information within their jurisdiction. At the same time, the OSCE will conduct the training programmes for media representatives regarding the development of professional journalism capacity and compliance with ethical standards of the profession.
