PM Đukanović: Montenegro and Serbia to boost economic cooperation through joint infrastructural projects

Podgorica, Montenegro (20 October 2014) – The official visit of the President of the Serbian National Assembly represents an additional incentive for intensifying bilateral cooperation between the two countries, today's meeting between Prime Minister Milo Đukanovć and President of Serbian National Assembly Maja Gojković in Podgorica emphasised.

PM Đukanović highlighted the economic cooperation between the two countries, particularly through the construction of joint infrastructural projects important for connecting the entire region and fostering integration process of the Western Balkans. In that regard, he reiterated Montenegro’s dynamic European and Euro-Atlantic accession process, as well as stabile economic development.

President of the Serbian National Assembly Gojković commended comprehensive relations between the two states, adding that bilateral relations can be significantly enhanced within the cooperation of the two parliaments and their working bodies.
