Successful Azerbaijani investments to boost Montenegro's economic development, PM Đukanović says

Podgorica, Montenegro (26 November 2014) – Azerbaijan’s successful implementation of investment projects in Montenegro forms a solid basis for strengthening cooperation between the two countries, which will significantly boost further investments, Prime Minister Milo Đukanović stressed at the meeting with Ambassador of Azerbaijan Eldar Hasanov.

The meeting discussed further perspective for the continuation of successful cooperation between Montenegro and Azerbaijan, with a particular emphasis on the results of the recent visit of PM Đukanović to Baku, which additionally fostered the bilateral relations.

In that regard, Ambassador Hasanov reiterated the Azerbaijani interest in implementing the infrastructure project aimed at improving the quality of traffic on the Montenegrin seaside and supporting development of the prestigious tourism resorts between the municipality of Tivat and municipality of Herceg Novi.

The officials also discussed an initiative on the establishment of the SOCAR’s regional centre in order to boost the energy sector.
