PM Đukanović to attend 3rd meeting of heads of governments of China and Central and East Europe in Belgarde

Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will take part in the 3rd meeting of heads of governments of China and Central and East Europe countries, which takes place in Belgrade on 16-17 December 2014.

Prime Minister Đukanović will meet in Belgrade with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.

China is committed to boosting cooperation with the countries of Central and East Europe and implementing joint projects, which has been confirmed by a 10 billion dolar fund aimed at providing preferential loan support to potential projects in 16 CEI countries.

The summit is supposed to adopt a 12 measures declaration for further advancing the CEI - China cooperation.

The 3rd summit offers an opportunity for further consideration and promotion of concrete mechanisms of economic cooperation between Montenegro and China given their significance for Montenegro, which, as the smallest coiuntry in the group, has been seen as a leader in using the loan funds.

On the sidelines of the summit, PM Đukanović will meet, among others,with Serbian and Hungarian prime ministers Aleksandar Vučić and Viktor Orban.
