Delegation of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Directorate for Protection of Cultural Property in the study visit to Spain

Delegation of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and the Directorate for Protection of Cultural Heritage, headed by Acting General Director for Tourism Development and Standards Ms. Olivera Brajovic, was at a study visit of "Paradores de Turismo de España" in Spain, which consists of 94 hotels. Established in 1928, this organization manages hotels that are mostly located in the protected cultural properties and are owned by the state. Management Model "Paradores de Turismo de España" contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage through sustainable tourism development of destinations where the facilities are located.

During the visit, a meeting with the President of the company Ms. Angeles Alarco Canosa and with General Manager Mr. Juan José Zaballa Gómez was held, and it was agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding, which will create conditions for further cooperation.
