DPMs Lazović, Ljajić: Meeting on reducing roaming services cost in region to be held in April in Belgrade

Podgorica, Montenegro (23 March 2015) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazović met yesterday with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić for talks on reducing roaming services cost in the region.

The two officials agreed that the agreement on reducing services cost confirms good cooperation when it comes to information and communication technologies in the region. In that regard, the two officials agreed to hold a meeting in Belgrade in April in order to continue harmonising activities towards the implementation of the agreement.

The two officials exchanged views on the process of digitalisation of radio and broadcasting system. Upon the completion of the process, the two officials agreed to enable all operators to improve their services within their spectre of digital dividend, at the same time providing the two countries with an additional budget income.

Deputy prime ministers Lazović and Ljajić also discussed cooperation related to joint events within the upcoming EXPO exhibition, which will take place in Milano.
