CoE Development Bank to continue supporting projects implementation in Montenegro

Podgorica, Montenegro (28 April 2015) -- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Information Society and Telecommunications Vujica Lazović met earlier today with Vice Governor of the Council of Europe Development Bank Mikolaj Dowgielewicz and the bank's Deputy Director General for Loans and Social Development Stephan Sellen.

The the meeting paid special attention to the implementation of current projects in Montenegro supported by the CoE Development Bank, and voiced satisfaction over extremely successful and quality cooperation that has been established. 

DPM Lazović and Vice Governor Dowgielewicz agreed that the focus should be placed on the CoE Development Bank's assistance in finding a sustainable solution to the issue of refugees and internally displaced persons. 

"As a caring society, we need to preserve social cohesion," Deputy Prime Minister Lazović underscored. 

Vice Governor Dowgielewicz voiced the financial insitution's willingness to provide full support to the implementation of the projects significant for Montenegro, particularly in the fields of education, health care, environment and social housing.

The two officials agreed that cooperation should be intensifieed in order to define future cooperation framework.
