Prime Minister Đukanović to pay two-day visit to Germany

Podgorica, Montenegro (5 May 2015) – Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will leave tomorrow for a two-day working visit to Berlin, at the invitation of the Chairman of Bundestag Committee for European Affairs Gunther Krichbaum. The Prime Minister will be the guest of the Committee, where he will present the results and activities of Montenegro’s EU accession process.
On the first day of the visit, PM Đukanović will meet with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier for talks on boosting political dialogue, promoting Montenegro’s strategic European and Euro-Atlantic goals and exchanging views on enhancing bilateral cooperation.
Prime Minister Đukanović will be the guest of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations to discuss possibilities of strengthening economic cooperation. The same topic will be discussed in the working lunch with representatives of the German Bank for Reconstruction and Development (KfW).
During his visit to Berlin, the Prime Minister will speak at the German Society for Foreign Policy on "European perspectives of the Western Balkans - Experience of Montenegro" and answer questions of the participants of this important forum. PM Đukanović will also meet with representatives of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
