It Was Considered Proposal of the Prime Minister of Montenegro on Appointment of the National Security Agency Director
In 44th session of the Committee for Secuirity and Defence, it was considered a proposal of the Prime Minister of Montenegro on Appointment of Director of the National Security Agency. The session was, by invitation only, attended by the candidate for the Agency Director, Dejan Peruničić. On the basis of an interview which was conducted with the candidate and the following discussion, the Committee adopted, by majority of votes, a Report by which the Parliament of Montenegro was proposed to send an Opinion with the Proposal to the Government to appoint Dejan Peruničić as Director of the National Security Agency.

In 121st session of the Government of Montenegro, held on 23 July 2015, which was chaired by its Prime Minister, Milo Đukanović, it was adopted the proposal of the Prime Minister to appoint former Acting Director of the Agency, Dejan Peruničić as Director of the National Security Agency (ANB).
‘’The proposal that the Government appoints Dejan Peruničić as Director of the National Security Agency is, primarily, supported by the fact that Mr Peruničić, through his long-standing professional engagement within the security sector, has acquired high level of expert and professional credibility, as well as the fact that he has successfully carried out the tasks of the ANB Acting Director, which assures me that he will carry out the tasks of Director quality and successfully’’, as it was quoted in explanation of the decision, signed by the Prime Minister, Milo Đukanović.
