Parliament Supported the Proposal on Appointment of Dejan Peruničić as ANB Director

The Parliament of Montenegro, by majority of votes, gave a positive opinion on the proposal of the Government to appoint Dejan Peruničić as Director of the National Security Agency (ANB). Forty-four members of Parliament (MPs) voted for the proposal, 29 MPs voted against it, and one MP was sustained.
On 23 July of this year, the Government accepted the proposal of the Prime Minister, Milo Đukanović to appoint Peruničić to that position. The Government forwarded the proposal on Appointment of the Agency Director to the Parliament for the purpose of giving an opinion, whereas the Committee for Secuirity and Defence had previously given a positive opinin on it.
