Interior Minister and Police Chief host injured police officers

Podgorica, Montenegro (25 October 2015) -- Minister of the Interior Raško Konjević and Director of the Police Authority Slavko Stojanović hosted late last night the police officers injured in the unrest caused last night by the Democratic Front.

Minister Konjević and Director Stojanović personally commended the police officers and expressed satisfaction with the police's professional conduct, and also voiced regret that the Democratic Front's protests ended in brutal attack of demonstrators on the police.

Minister Konjević and Director Stojanović thanked the police officers for risking their lives to fulfil legal requirements. They expressed deep regret that police officers and citizens got injured and they wished everyone a speedy recovery.
