Intensive communication between Montenegro and Azerbaijan best recommendation for ongoing and future projects
Baku, Azerbaijan (27 October 2015) – Prime Minister Milo Đukanović started earlier today his visit to Azerbaijan, where he met with President Ilham Aliyev.
“There are enough reasons for both states to be satisfied and this is a rare example of establishing close political relations and comprehensive cooperation in various areas for a short period of time,” PM Đukanović emphasised, adding that intensive communication at high levels is the best recommendation for boosting cooperation in implementing future projects.
President Aliyev commended friendly relations between the two states, as well as high frequency of meetings at all levels, voicing belief that the established communication and cooperation between the two states will be continued in the coming period.
“We have established mutual trust and partnership. There are real opportunities for strengthening relations through the implementation of projects in energy and tourism, as well as for boosting cooperation of business sectors in a wide range of areas. I believe that your visit will significantly contribute to the continuation of the well-developed cooperation,” President Aliyev highlighted.
In an open and friendly atmosphere, the two officials discussed the current situation regarding the implementation of the ongoing projects and opportunities for enhancing cooperation in energy, infrastructure and tourism.
The meeting was also attended by Montenegro's Minister of Economy and Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission Vladimir Kavarić, and Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development Branimir Gvozdenović.
