PM Đukanović to take part in 4th China-SEE countries summit in China on 24-25 November

Podgorica, Montenegro (22 November 2015) -- Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will participate in the 4th Summit of Heads of Government of China and Central and Eastern Europe Countries, within the framework of the 16+1 cooperation programme. The summit will take place in the city of Sozhou, China, on 24-25 November.

During his stay in China, the Prime Minister will meet with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang in Beijing. He will also take part in a meeting between President of China Xi Jinping and heads of government of CEE countries.

Prime Minister Đukanović will also meet with representatives of the Chinese companies interested in investing in major infrastructure projects in Montenegro, as well as with a number of prime ministers of European states.

The China-SEE countries summit, which is to be held in China for the first time, is titled "New starting point, new domain and new vision." It envisages the adoption of the Medium-Term Agenda containing a cooperation plan of for the next five years, as well as the Suzhou guidelines, which defines activities to be undertaken in 2016.

The Montenegrin delegation, led by Prime Minister Đukanović and Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazović, also includes Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Branimir Gvozdenović, and Minister of Transport Ivan Brajović.
