Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosts delegation of Chinese Poly Group

Podgorica, Montenegro (17 December 2015) – Earlier today, Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted a delegation of the Poly Group, led by President Wang Eric.

Poly Group’s visit to Montenegro is the result of successfully conducted meetings and talks during the recent Summit of China and Central Eastern European countries, which took place in Suzhou, China.

Prime Minister Đukanović noted that Montenegro and China cherish good cooperation, referring particularly to joint development projects. He reiterated the Government’s willingness to continue cooperation in infrastructure, energy, development of the Port of Bar and Industrial Park.

Mr Wang Eric reiterated that the company is determined to implement projects having been discussed during the Summit in China, referring to the continuation of the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway, Adriatic-Ionian highway, as well as projects in energy, construction of tourism facilities and waste management projects.

The two officials agreed there is space for boosting cooperation in the coming period, particularly when it comes to relations between the EU funds, Montenegrin projects and Chinese partners.
