The US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State congratulated Prime Minister Đukanović on NATO invitation, the start of accession negotiations, as well as on having won the vote of confidence in the Parliament. He said that Montenegro has made strong progress in the rule of law and fulfilled other obligations, which will facilitate the partners to make a decision on ratification. He informed the US official about the situation in Montenegro, hopeful that its development will result in strengthening the stability, which will lead to further progress in the process of integration.

These and other issues will also be discussed in more detail next month when Hoyt Brian Yee will be visiting Montenegro.
