PM Đukanović talks to Director-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielson

London, the United Kingdom (22 February 2016) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović met in London with Director-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielson.
The two officials voiced satisfaction over the outcome of the Western Balkans Investment Summit, stressing that it reflects the spirit of the Berlin Process, which is essential for the European integration of the region. In that context, the summit particularly focused on appropriate measures which are necessary in order for this process to be effective until the end.
Prime Minister Đukanović and EU’s Danielsson paid special attention to the obligations that are ahead of Montenegro in the negotiation process with the EU. The Prime Minister said that his government will insist on removing all the obstacles along the way, in close cooperation with Brussels, whereas Mr Danielsson stated that he expects Montenegro to show tangible results on the basis of which the progress in the negotiations is to be measured.
