Admiral Samardžić on handover of the duty of the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, Admiral Dragan Samardžić attended today the handover ceremony of the duty of the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces which is held today in Zagreb. 

General Drago Lovrić handed over the duty to the new chief Lieutenant General Mirko Šundov.

Admiral Samardžić thanked the General Lovrić on long stranding successful cooperation and support of the Armed Forces of Montenegro especially through joint participation in ISAF operations and Resolute Support in Afghanistan but also in the process of NATO integrations.

By congratulating General Šundov on his appointment, Admiral Samardžić expressed the hope that they will continue the successful cooperation between the two Armies, especially in light of the integration of Montenegro into NATO.

General Šundov stressed the readiness of Croatian Armed Forces to share their experiences from the process of integration into NATO and provide the necessary assistance to the Armed Forces of Montenegro on that path.

The ceremony in Zagreb attended the Chiefs of General Staff of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia, as well as the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, General Rahman Rama.
