Podgorica, Montenegro (15 March 2016) -- Montenegrin delegation, led by Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Branimir Gvozdenović, had a number of activities at real estate fair opened earlier today in Cannes.

This year's focus of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism was place on the presentation of the north and south of Montenegro and investment potential of Bjelasica, Komovi, Durmitor and Prokletije. Porto Montenegro, Luštica Bay, Portonovi and Montrose projects were also presented at the Ministry’s stand. The Montenegrin delegation met, among others, with the MIPIM Director for South Eastern Europe and Asia Edward Jervis.

″In my work I always use Montenegro as an outstanding example of successful destination promotion. It is great that the Ministry’s team comes to MIPIM every year. They are excellent ambassadors of Montenegro and they show that they really take care that more top quality investors come to Montenegro. As for MIPIM, this is the best year since 2008 because we have 2,000 more visitors, therefore, total 24,000 visitors. Currently this is a center of investment potential presentation, and environmental protection and tourism are the main topics. It is therefore important to promote not only the coast and the sea, but mountain regions, which I see Montenegro does intensively every year. The fact that the first MIPIM news published an article about the Portonovi investment testifies to how Monte″,Mr Jervis pointed                                                         out.
