Samardžić welcomed Apostolakis: Successful cooperation of the Armed Forces of Montenegro and the Republic of Greece

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Montenegro Admiral Dragan Samardžić met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Greece  Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis who is staying in the visit to the Armed Forces of Montenegro.

Admiral Samardžić expressed his gratitude for the support that the Republic of Greece provides to Montenegro in its European and Euro-Atlantic path. He emphasized the successful cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries. Admiral Apostolakis offered new forms of cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries such as the possibility of education of Montenegrin officers to Command and Staff Colleges and War Schools in Greece.

Admiral Samardžić introduced the Admiral Apostolakis with the reforms that have been implemented so far and plans in the process of integrating the defense system of Montenegro in NATO, after which the two chiefs discussed the current security situation in the region.


During the visit of the Armed forces Montenegro, Admiral Apostolakis visited the barracks "Milovan Šaranović" in Danilovgrad, where he attended the presentation skills of the Intelligence Reconnaissance Company and Military Police Company.

Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Greece met with officers of the Armed Forces of Montenegro who graduated on the military academies in the Republic of Greece.
