Common exercise of the Navy of Armed Forces of Montenegro and Standing NATO Mine Counter-Measures Group

The ships of Standing NATO Mine Counter – Measures Group have realized on 21 March the common exercise with the Patrol Boat P-33 “Kotor” from the composition of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Montenegro.

The exercise included different types of simple and complex tactical maneuvers as well as searching under sea in order to find the left over mines.

SNMCMG2 visit has the aim to enhance the maritime security and preparedness for responding on the various kinds of challenges, increasing the level of interoperability and strengthening the cooperation and partnership with Montenegro.

This is the second visit of the same group of ships in a short period. In September of last year the Group visited also Montenegro when they have exercised the similar activities on sea.
