PM Đukanović congratulates Aleksandar Vučić on his party's election victory

Podgorica, Montenegro (27 april 2016) -- Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović congratulated his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vučić on his party's parliamentary election victory on Sunday.

"I want officially to extend my heartiest congratulations on convincing victory of the Serbian Progressive Party in the Serbia's parliamentary elections. I believe that this opens up new opportunities for Serbia for faster and more stable economic and democratic development and progress in European integration," PM Đukanović says in his congratulation letter.

He also expressed confidence that the relations between Montenegro and Serbia will be further enhanced in line with modern needs and common European objectives, and that the Government of Serbia, led by Aleksandar Vučić, will continue to play an important role in strengthening regional stability.
