PM Đukanović to visit Malta, NATO Headquarters in Brussels
Podgorica, Montenegro (17 May 2016) -- Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Đukanović will pay tomorrow an official visit to Malta, at the invitation of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. His visit to Valletta will be an opportunity to exchange views on mechanisms for enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation in the process of joining the EU.
During the visit, the Memorandum of Cooperation in health and medical sciences between the relevant ministries of the two countries will be signed.
The Montenegrin delegation will also include Health Minister Budimir Šegrt.
Upon the completion of the official visit to Malta, Prime Minister Đukanović will travel to Brussels, where he will be attending on 19 May, at the invitation of Secretary-General of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, the ceremony of signing the Protocol of Accession at the Ministerial Meeting of the Alliance.
After the signing ceremony, the Prime Minister will participate, as a representative of Montenegro, for the first time, in the working meetings of NATO, which will discuss current security challenges.
During his stay in Brussels, Prime Minister Đukanović will meet with the NATO Secretary-General. The two officials will hold a joint press conference following their meeting.
