Podgorica, Montenegro (21 May 2016) – Prime Minister Milo Đukanović hosted today non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Montenegro Ricardo Fernandez. The Prime Minister conveyed the readiness of the Government of Montenegro for the improvement of relations with Argentina, where significant number of Montenegrin emigrants live and what represents an additional and important bridge of cooperation and strengthening of friendly relations and ties between the two countries.

PM Đukanović expressed satisfaction regarding his first official visit to Buenos Aires early June, with the belief that this will be an opportunity for political contacts and for the exchange of opinions on the specific modalities of cooperation.

Ambassador Fernandez , beside message of congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day celebration, said that the visit of Prime Minister Đukanović to Argentina will further strengthen bilateral relations. He also pointed out the need to work on completing the normative-legal base in order to create conditions for intensification of economic cooperation.
