Prime Minister Milo Đukanović leaves on several-day visit to Argentina

Podgorica, Montenegro (3 June 2016) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will leave tomorrow on several-day visit to Argentina.

On the first day of his visit to Buenos Aires, Prime Minister Đukanović will participate in the founding congress of the Association of Montenegrin communities in Latin America, which will gather community representatives from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay and Mexico. He will lay flowers at the grave of the famous captain Miloš Vukasović at the Recoleta Cemetery to mark the 110th anniversary of his appointment as Honorary Consul General of Montenegro in Argentina.

During his visit to Argentina, Prime Minister Đukanović will meet with President of Argentina Mauricio Macri. This is the first bilateral meeting at the highest level, which will be an opportunity to strengthen political dialogue and exchange views on boosting cooperation between the two countries, particularly bearing in mind that large Montenegrin diaspora lives in Argentina.

PM Đukanović will also visit the Argentine Council for International Relations - CARI, where he will deliver a speech on regional cooperation in post-Yugoslav space and European perspective of the Western Balkans. At the Montenegrin Embassy in Buenos Aires, he will meet with Montenegro's honorary consuls in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Uruguay.

The Montenegrin delegation also includes Minister of Economy Vladimir Kavarić, who will sign an agreement on economic and trade cooperation between Montenegro and Argentina with State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship Maria Cristina Boldorini.
