Prime Minister Đukanović sends letter of condolence to US President Obama regarding terrorist attack in Orlando

Podgorica, Montenegro (23 June 2016) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović sent on behalf of the Government of Montenegro and in his own name a letter expressing deepest condolences to the President of the United States Barack Obama on the occasion of yesterday’s terrorist attack in Orlando in which scores of people were killed and seriously injured.

The news of this heinous act has been received with dismay and condemnation in Montenegro. We sincerely sympathise with the families of the innocent victims, and the people and the Government of the United States, with the belief that hatred and fanaticism of any kind cannot jeopardise the common values ​​on which the free world is founded, Prime Minister’s letter reads.
