DPM Vujović meets with US Ambassador Uyehara

Podgorica, Montenegro (29 June 2016) – Deputy Prime Minister Milorad Vujović met today with the Ambassador of the United States Margaret Ann Uyehara. DPM Vujović briefed the Ambassador about activities which opposition members in the Government take in order to control the electoral process so that election results fully express the will of the citizens.

The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for greater transparency of the Government's work in order to increase awareness of citizens about managing public goods. He emphasised the need to further strengthen the rule of law in Montenegro, as well as the future sustainable economic development.

DPM Vujović thanked the Ambassador Uyehara for the support in stabilisation of the political situation in Montenegro.
