Maltese Vital Global Healthcare interested in investing in Montenegro's health care system

Podgorica, Montenegro (13 September 2016) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović met earlier today with representatives of the Maltese Vital Global Healthcare (VGH) company, who expressed interest in investing in the health system of Montenegro within the framework of further reforms the country will implement in this area.

The Prime Minister spoke about the main resources of economic development of Montenegro and the necessity of strengthening competitiveness. In that regard, he stressed the importance of establishing high-quality health services for the development of Montenegro as a prestigious tourist destination. Potential collaboration with the VGH would contribute to faster development in this field, the meeting concluded.

Representatives of the Maltese company expressed interest in investing in the Montenegrin health care system through a phased approach, modernisation and training of all three levels of the health care system.
