PM Đukanović to take part in 71st session of UN General Assembly in New York

Podgorica, Montenegro (18 September 2016) -- Prime Minister Milo Đukanović will pay a visit to New York on 18 - 22 September to attend the 71st session of the UN General Assembly.

On 19 September, the Prime Minister will deliver a speech at the Summit for Refugees and Migrants, which aims to promote joint responsibility for this global challenge and find more efficient responses to these issues through the promotion of international cooperation.

During his visit to New York, Prime Minister Đukanović will be a guest at the traditional reception hosted by US President Barak Obama, and the lunch for heads of delegations hosted by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

On the sidelines of this year’s UN General Assembly, PM Đukanovic will hold a series of bilateral meetings.

Public Relations Service of the Government of Montenegro will provide the media with photos and video recordings.
