PM Đukanović meets with his Serbian counterpart: Peace and stability of Western Balkans have no alternative

New York, the USA (21 September 2016) – Prime Minister Milo Đukanović met today with Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić in New York.

In an open and friendly atmosphere, the two prime ministers discussed the improvement of relations between the two countries. The two officials expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of bilateral relations and stated that more attention should be paid to economic cooperation in mutual interest.

Đukanović and Vučić exchanged views on current developments in the region and agreed that the peace and stability of the Western Balkans have no alternative, which are the foundation of economic and overall prosperity of all countries in the region.

They also emphasised that the future relations between these two countries should be seriously considered nowadays, taking into account the common interests and strategic objectives, as well as the new challenges faced by the region and Europe.
