Eighth National Coordinators' Meeting for cooperation between China and CEE countries to be held

An adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister for economic policy and financial system and Montenegro’s National Coordinator for cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and Central and Eastern European countries Goran Jovetić will participate at the eighth National Coordinators’ meeting, which will be held in Riga (Latvia) on 14 October 2016.

The meeting is organised in order to prepare this year’s summit of Heads of governments of Central and Eastern Europe countries and China, which was planned for early November 2016 in Riga.

The coordinator Jovetić will have exposure in connection with the actual activities of Montenegro under the Initiative “16+1”, with a proposal of future projects, as well as the activities to enhance the cooperation in the framework of this mechanism.

The meeting will also consider the proposed documents: “Riga Guideline” and “Declaration of three sees”, adoption of which is planned for the forthcoming summit.

The meeting will be led by the Secretary-General of the Secretariat for Cooperation between China and CEE countries, Assistant Foreign Minister of China Liu Haixing.
